Ever since the debut of Project Slippi's Online mode, I've missed the classic Melee music we all know and love. After finding out about M'Overlay, I realized we could have the full Melee experience, music included.
This project seeks to recreate an authentic music experience while conserving file size and loop duration. However, A number of songs in Melee start with an intro that is not looped back into. This means that in order to include some song intros, some alterations to smooth the loop had to be made. Some work better than others. All music included is directly from Melee. I took a few liberties in adding some music in some areas (ex. Added Targets! as menu music).

EDIT02: It has been brought to my attention that some music I had as alternates in some stages were not accurate, so I have removed them as ALTs for those stages. This decreases the size of the download slightly. I have updated the links to this revision. If you would prefer to hear more variation, I recommend moving files to the Series folder:
Resonances: Engaging Music in Its Cultural Context offers a fresh curriculum for the college-level music appreciation course. Topics include storytelling, political expression, spirituality, dance, domestic entertainment, and more. The chapters and examples can be taught in any order, making Resonances a flexible resource that can be adapted to your teaching or learning needs. This textbook is accompanied by a complete set of PowerPoint slides and learning objectives.

Learning to play music brings a wide array of beneficial traits that extend beyond the music room. When a musician learns to read, play and perform music, they gain mental, cognitive and emotional health benefits that will last throughout their lifetime.

Now leave the Spotify app open on your iPhone and let it sit on a table plugged in to power to download. I also usually turn down my screen brightness very low while this is happening to not wear out my screen.
Well normally apps don't need to run in the background and download thousands of things like with the Spotify app. Apple does this to protect your battery life so things are not constantly using lots of processing power in the background.
So having to do this to download songs in the Spotify app isn't too bad. Especially since you rarely have to do it. Once you download them they are downloaded. I have been using the iPhone since 2009 and overall I really like it and prefer it over Android.
_loading_system/downloading_files_in_the_bac...iOS ABSOLUTELY has an API for downloading files in the background. Spotify is just too lazy to implement it. I see no reason to continue using Spotify because of this issue. To blame Apple is really terrible. iOS should be more open, but lying about iOS's capabilities to make people outraged at iOS's walled-garden design brings the movement down. Be better, Spotify.
